What they're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience preferred, including experience in accounting, audit, asset management, fund administration, operations, compliance, legal, internal audit, or risk
- Strong academic record, cumulative GPA of 3.5 and above is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex information clearly and objectively
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify inconsistencies, ask probing questions, and exercise sound judgment

Aksia’s Operational Due Diligence (“ODD”) team is based across the United States, Europe, and Asia. The team is cross-trained across alternative asset classes and evaluates the operational and business risks that may affect alternative investment managers and funds.
ODD combines investigative research and professional judgment to help institutional investors understand how a manager operates, identify areas that warrant further consideration, and make informed investment decisions.
Aksia is seeking an Analyst to join our ODD team in our San Diego office. Analysts participate in meetings with investment managers and key operational professionals, engage with third-party service providers, review and analyze relevant documentation, and work with senior colleagues to assess potential operational and business risks.
