Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Azure Virtual Desktop host pools, session desktops, and RemoteApp environments
- Manage AVD image lifecycle including master image creation, golden image updates, and application layering
- Configure FSLogix profile containers, Office containers, and user profile management strategies
- Implement AVD scaling plans, auto-scaling policies, and cost optimization configurations.
- Integrate AVD with Intune, Azure AD, Defender for Endpoint, and enterprise security controls
- Monitor AVD performance, user experience metrics, and resolve session and connectivity issues
- Collaborate with EDA and engineering teams to deliver optimized virtual desktop environments for design workloads
- Maintain AVD documentation, runbooks, and image management procedures
