About the role
Amae Health is seeking a driven, relationship-oriented Community Liaison to own referral growth in the Los Angeles region. This is a hybrid role: part territory-building business development, part hands-on patient advocate.
What they're looking for
- Build and manage a target list of referral partners across hospitals, EDs, community mental health centers, and outpatient providers in Los Angles, segmented by priority and referral potential
- Run systematic, recurring outreach to existing partners. This means regular touchpoints, not one-and-done visits in order to protect and grow referral volume from your top accounts
- Prospect and activate new referral sources based on net-new active referral source targets per quarter
- Build relationships at multiple levels within a health system: discharge planners and case managers day-to-day, with a path to physician and leadership-level relationships over time
- Re-engage lapsed or dormant referral sources by identifying why volume dropped and rebuilding the relationship
- Understand the competitive landscape in your market, including where patients are currently being referred instead, and why, and adjust your approach accordingly
