You'll serve as a trusted advisor to business leadership, negotiate complex cloud technology transactions, and develop innovative solutions that enable us to scale legal support to our global client base.

Key job responsibilities

  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize terms for complex, high-value cloud technology transactions, demonstrating sound judgment in ambiguous situations and balancing legal risk with business objectives
  • Provide ongoing legal counsel and contract interpretation guidance to AWS business team members, serving as a trusted advisor on transactional and commercial matters
  • Manage legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships, working to resolve disputes and maintain strong client partnerships
  • Advise business leadership on legal risk associated with new business initiatives and market opportunities
  • Address pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries, working collaboratively with business teams to develop appropriate responses and resolutions
