About the role

As an Operations Engineer (L4 - IC) on the Mechanical Integration team, you will contribute technical expertise to the installation and deployment of material handling equipment (MHE) across Amazon fulfillment center sites. Working under the guidance of the Site Deployment Manager and senior mechanical leads, you will support zone-level mechanical installation activities including structural steel, conveyor placement, mechanical connections, and quality control.

As an Operations Engineer (L4 - IC) on the Mechanical Integration team, you will contribute technical expertise to the installation and deployment of material handling equipment (MHE) across Amazon fulfillment center sites. Working under the guidance of the Site Deployment Manager and senior mechanical leads, you will support zone-level mechanical installation activities including structural steel, conveyor placement, mechanical connections, and quality control. This role requires solid hands-on mechanical skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to deliver safe, high-quality installations at multiple sites.

Mechanical Installation Support

Support mechanical installation crews deploying conveyor systems, sortation equipment, and associated structural systems

Assist with structural header steel installation including hanging steel, prebuilding supports, and anchoring to building structure

Support conveyor prep and placement operations including rigging, lifting, staging, and setting conveyor sections into final positions
