About the role
Analyze engineering drawings, CAD models (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar), and technical specifications to determine machining processes, tooling, fixtures, and workholding methods. Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills, lathes, and multi-tasking machines.
What they're looking for
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a CNC Programmer in a precision machining environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required, technical degree or certificate in CNC Programming, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field preferred
- Strong proficiency with at least one major CAM software package, Mastercam preferred, with Fusion 360, SolidCAM, Siemens NX, or equivalent also acceptable
- Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming, including the ability to manually edit and troubleshoot programs at the control
- Experience programming multi-axis CNC equipment, including 3- and 4-axis mills and CNC lathes, 5-axis simultaneous machining and multi-tasking/mill-turn experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T (ASME Y14.5), and 3D CAD models

As the CNC Programmer , you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs for the multi-axis machining equipment used to produce components for our proprietary building system. You will translate engineering drawings and 3D models into efficient, accurate programs, develop tooling and machining strategies, and work closely with production and engineering to deliver safe, repeatable, high-quality manufacturing processes.
