About the role
This is an early-to-mid career role embedded within a high-tempo, multi-disciplinary engineering team. You will support end-to-end environmental and reliability test campaigns—including Design Verification Testing (DVT), qualification, and reliability testing—for advanced optical payloads across air, ground, maritime, and space domains. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who thrives on taking complex hardware from early proof-of-concept through to full-rate production. What they're looking for
- Performed Environmental testing at previous job(s) for military and/or commercial industry
- Strong Knowledge and test execution per MIL-STD-810 and/or MIL-STD-461
- Strong Knowledge of Shock & Vibration testing including fixture design and control strategies
- Strong knowledge of various instrumentation and data acquisition
- Generated MATLAB/Python scripting for test data automation and data processing
- Basic understanding of hoisting and lifting / rigging
