About the role
We are looking for a Metrology Specialist to join our rapidly growing team in Santa Ana, CA working in a cutting-edge production environment to advance the state-of-the-possible in maritime manufacturing. What they're looking for
- 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing, quality, or metrology engineering role
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, a related engineering field, or equivalent experience
- Strong proficiency in interpreting and applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per the ASME Y14.5 standard
- Hands-on experience with at least one major metrology software platform (PC-DMIS or Polyworks), with a strong aptitude to become proficient in others
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment governed by a formal Quality Management System (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001)
- Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings and 3D CAD models
