How GPs manage their funds, investors invest in startups, and capital moves between them. Backed by GV.
About the role
Running a venture fund today requires a team of accountants, analysts, lawyers, and operators. The future is a headless, agentic experience where software runs the back office and the General Partner (GP) focuses on raising capital and picking winners. You'll own the strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for Full Service , our flagship product for emerging managers, and Scout Funds , the product that puts you in the room with some of the largest names in venture, with the ultimate goal of increasing our market share.
What they're looking for
- Domain passion: deep engagement with the VC ecosystem and a real POV on where it's going, either fluent in fund mechanics (capital calls, distributions, NAV, K-1s) or ready to get there fast
- AI fluency: actively builds with AI tools and sees automating fund operations as one of the most compelling product problems in the market
- Ownership: closes the gap between formal PM scope and whatever needs to happen for the product to win
- Customer-centric execution: growth-oriented, ships and iterates quickly, treats customer feedback as a primary input
- Sharp communication and range: precise writer who turns edge cases into shippable requirements, can hold their own with senior leaders at established firms and do hands-on execution
- Relevant experience: 4+ years PM, ideally fintech, B2B SaaS, or another operationally complex domain
More about this role
Private markets are the new public markets. The most important companies of this era are private, and almost no one can own them. What's missing is the financial system public markets spent a century building: exchanges, custodians, brokers, and ways for ordinary people to buy in. Private markets, now $28T, never had the equivalent. AngelList is building it.
The last decade of structural innovation in venture happened here: syndicates, SPVs at scale, Rolling Funds, scout programs. Today we have $200B+ in assets and 30,000+ startups funded on our platform. The rest of private markets is next. Funds is the software and services behind private funds, Nova is the banking network, Meridian is the wealth platform for accredited investors, and USVC is the brand behind a registered fund that lets anyone invest in venture.
Working here means an unusual amount of agency on a problem that matters. Titles are closer to suggestions, and there are about 200 of us building what private markets never had. Come build it with us.
