- Can read a messaging doc and quickly spot what customer proof it needs and where the gaps are
- Are a strong writer and interviewer who can get a customer to say something specific and true, then turn it into a story people want to read
- Have supported product launches and campaigns with customer proof, often on tight timelines
- Have built sales enablement that sales teams kept using after launch week
- Are comfortable with technical products and can explain/write what a customer built, and why it matters, in plain language
- Know how to work across a lot of teams without formal authority, and can say “not yet” when a request doesn't fit the plan
