About the role
As Apex continues to expand its satellite manufacturing footprint, we are seeking a Facilities Manager to lead the day-to-day operations, maintenance programs, vendors, and team that keep our engineering, laboratory, and manufacturing environments safe, compliant, and efficient. This role owns the facilities team and programs, enabling Facilities leadership to focus on strategy, capital planning, and risk management.
What they're looking for
- All applicants must be a U.S. Person due to export control requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive facilities management experience, preferably in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or high-tech environments
- Demonstrated experience managing people, vendors, budgets, and facilities programs in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Strong working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety) plus building codes, OSHA/EHS requirements, and facilities best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and CMMS / facilities workflow systems
