About the role
Applied is looking for a Hardware Product Manager who is passionate about bringing physical AI products to life. You'll own hardware products end to end — from component and architecture decisions through production launch — across the automotive, trucking, defense, construction, mining, and agriculture industries. This is an important role where you will drive both strategy and execution, working closely with engineering, supply chain, and OEM customers to ship hardware that performs reliably in the field. What they're looking for
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, with a focus on hardware products
- Experience at an automotive, trucking, defense, or other OEM, or at a supplier building hardware products for them
- A track record of shipping hardware products to production, including navigating prototyping, validation, and manufacturing ramp
- Strong technical background with understanding of and/or hands-on experience in electrical or mechanical engineering
- BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent required
- Experience managing external partners, suppliers, or contract manufacturers
