Apten is an omni-channel AI agent that automates sales and marketing conversations with millions of leads across SMS, voice, and email. Apten communicates exactly like a human — dynamically switching between channels, personalizing every follow-up, and proactively using tools (CRMs, schedulers, lead systems) in-conversation.
What they're looking for
- Experience building and shipping production software (or equivalent skill) - personal projects are OK
- Experience with TypeScript , React , and AWS (Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, SQS, CDK, etc.)
- Strong product sense — able to make pragmatic tradeoffs, prioritize for impact, and ship fast
- Comfortable working across the stack (frontend → backend → infra)
- Previous startup or early-stage experience a plus

We’re now scaling rapidly and looking for our second full stack software engineer to join us. You’ll work directly with the founding team to build core product experiences and infrastructure — from high-throughput message pipelines to voice bots, workflow builders, context management systems, AI-driven orchestration, and self-improvement systems.
This is an opportunity to own critical systems and shape the product and culture from the ground up.
Own and ship core features across the stack — from React frontends to AWS-based APIs, Lambdas, and microservices
Work directly with enterprises to build AI agents, and the data flywheels needed to give them proper context
Build scalable infra for messaging, AI inference, and automation at high volume
