About the role
We're looking for a Head of Engineering, AI to lead our currently (and hopefully always) small engineering team and also be a high-output IC at the same time.
What they're looking for
- Graduated with a bachelors in computer science or related degree
- Very strong backend experience, preferably in 0-1 or 1-10 environments
- Worked at a startup (Seed - Series E) before
- Must be ready to work in person in Manhattan, New York 5 days per week in person but 6 days per week total

Asha Health is building an AI OS for outpatient care. It’s the year of AI agents, and startups selling AI agents to healthcare organizations will do great in this wave. We want to take a bet. We’re not looking for seasoned engineering leaders. We’re looking for someone incredibly ambitious, who has maybe never even led a team before but for that very reason is ready to give it their all to step up to the challenge.
You’d be engineer #5. You’d be both an IC and a team lead and work directly with our CTO. Lot of ownership; potentially rapid career growth. Think you could be our Tibo?
