About the role

This role can be based in our Los Angeles or San Francisco office locations. As a company driven by innovation and continuous change, close collaboration is essential. We’re constantly reimagining our industry, creating new products, and refining our processes, and we do our best work together. That’s why all of our office-based teams work onsite, five days a week. The base salary range for this role is $195,000 - $250,000 per year.

What they're looking for

  • You bring a J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. California bar admission is strongly preferred
  • You have 6+ years of real estate transactional experience, built on a strong law firm foundation of complex, demanding deals. In-house experience at a company that owns or operates its footprint is a plus
  • You have run leases and purchase and sale agreements from first draft through close with little oversight, and you know where the real risk sits in the document
  • You have worked on development, construction, land use, or entitlements, or bring real estate experience in energy, EV charging, mining, or data centers. Depth in more than one is a strong plus
  • You bring sharp judgment and a business-first mindset, translating complex legal issues into clear guidance for non-lawyers and knowing when a deal needs more eyes
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and move quickly without losing rigor
More about this role

Atoms is building the machines that power the next era of progress.

Over the last decade, software has transformed the digital world. But the physical world, where food is made, minerals are mined, goods are moved, and industries are run, remains far less intelligent, far less efficient, and far more constrained. We’re changing that.

Atoms builds Physical AI — real-world robots for the industries that move civilization forward, starting with food, mining, and transport. Our systems are designed to understand, predict, and control the real world with precision, turning complex physical operations into something more reliable, more scalable, and more productive.

This work requires more than robotics. It requires deep integration across hardware, software, AI, operations, manufacturing, and real estate. We don’t just build machines in a lab. We deploy them into real environments, operate them, learn from them, and improve them until they work at scale.

We are roboticists, engineers, operators, and builders. We believe the next great technology companies will not only transform information, but the physical systems that shape everyday life.

If you want to work on hard problems with...
