About the role
As an Application Engineer, you will visit our customers or prospective customers in person to generate a Scope Of Work (SOW) by observing rotating equipment, reviewing engineering documents, engineering key Augury hardware or software applications, and helping develop the value of condition monitoring.
What they're looking for
- Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical, Mechanical, or equivalent) or 5 years of experience working in manufacturing in Operations, Maintenance, or Reliability
- Desire to work and learn in a fast paced environment
- Drive: A love of cutting-edge technology, industrial businesses, and can think on your feet. You are looking for an opportunity to join a company that is changing the manufacturing industry
- Must have a valid driver's license, passport, and the ability to successfully pass a background check
- Residence in the US, ideally within one hour of a major airport. Able to travel internationally when required
- Vibration Analyst Category I or II certification is a plus

- Plan and execute site visits with customers; professionally represent Augury in the field.
- Work closely with Augury Sales and Engineering teams to drive SOW creation at customer sites.
- Walk through facilities to observe rotating machines, and design the application of hardware and software solutions to meet the needs of our customers.
