About the role
AutoStore's mission is to make storage and fulfillment faster, denser, and more reliable for customers around the world. Our R&D organization turns new ideas in robotics, sensing, vision, and physical AI into commercial products. As a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer, you'll join a multidisciplinary team of electrical, mechanical, and test engineers and work closely with Product Management and technology partners. What they're looking for
- 4+ years of experience delivering embedded solutions for customers in areas such as robotics, IoT, electronics, embedded systems, advanced sensing, vision, or AI/physical AI
- Strong proficiency in embedded C/C++, plus Python for tooling and test automation, and Git
- Solid experience with embedded Linux and networking (TCP/IP, Ethernet, time synchronization such as PTP)
- Experience developing firmware for resource-constrained devices
- Working knowledge of electronics: able to read schematics, lead board bring-up with EE partners, and understand power electronics basics (PWM, current regulation, thermal limits)
- Hands-on lab skills with oscilloscopes, logic and protocol analyzers, and power measurement equipment, plus awareness of signal-integrity issues on high-speed interfaces
