As an Infrastructure & Security Engineer at Axle, you'll play a critical role in building, scaling, and securing the systems that power our platform. Axle powers mission-critical insurance data extraction, validation, and verification — where getting things wrong has real-world consequences.

Axle is building the AI-native clearinghouse for insurance, unlocking access to a core financial data primitive that impacts almost every industry and transaction. Our mission is to completely transform the communication layer for insurance.
As an Infrastructure & Security Engineer at Axle, you'll play a critical role in building, scaling, and securing the systems that power our platform. Axle powers mission-critical insurance data extraction, validation, and verification — where getting things wrong has real-world consequences. You’ll be responsible for maintaining reliable, scalable infrastructure across compute, storage, and deployment systems and protecting sensitive insurance and customer data, securing our infrastructure, and embedding best-in-class security practices across the engineering organization.
We’re looking for individuals who think creatively about problems, keep up to date on the latest in AI research, and are excited about helping financial data reach full connectivity.
Our team is based in-person in New York City (Flatiron/NoMad).
