About the role
As a contributor in the APX platform engineering organization on the CloudNet team, you focus on solving real-time problems for mission-critical cloud-native services—and on the quality and reliability our customers expect. You'll work closely with teams operating Axon systems around the world, and your technical influence extends across engineering because every product needs sound guidance for how it connects and scales in Axon's overall networking picture. What they're looking for
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science
- Operating critical components or services in Kubernetes clusters at meaningful scale (ingress, gateways, mesh, or similar)
- Infrastructure-as-code and automated delivery on public cloud (Axon uses Azure, other major clouds are fine)
- Production software in Python, Go, or Java (including Scala) for infrastructure, tooling, or reliable services—not only one-off scripts
- Production ownership of service mesh, ingress, TLS/certificate automation, DNS or public-edge patterns, or secure east-west traffic in cloud environments
