About the role
As a Senior Mobile App Engineer, you'll help power Beacon's mission by building the cross-platform React Native apps that patients and clinicians use with our EEG headbands and other wearables. Your work will shape how people capture high-fidelity data and how easily they move through clinical trials and at-home diagnostics. This isn't just another app. You'll build tools that help unlock insights into neurological, psychiatric, and sleep disorders, with the potential to improve lives at scale. - 8+ years of experience in mobile development, including substantial experience shipping and maintaining production React Native apps on both iOS and Android
- Strong TypeScript skills and familiarity with our stack (React Native, Expo, GitHub)
- Experience with app state management, offline-first data handling, and app store release processes
- A product mindset: you care deeply about UX, edge cases, and performance
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in a collaborative, async environment
