About the role
We’re hiring a Head of Compute Operations to help us onboard more compute to our platform. You’ll work directly with data center operators, OEMs, suppliers, and compute providers to evaluate, test, and contract new capacity to the platform. Manage our supply of compute. Keep a live view of capacity across our datacenter partners, from hardware type, location, network fabric, operator, and delivery dates. What they're looking for
- You’ve worked in datacenter ops, capacity planning, or infrastructure delivery at a GPU cloud, neocloud, hyperscaler, or colo provider
- You’re technical enough to SSH into a node and communicate things like the difference between InfiniBand and RoCE
- You have the business acumen to explain how a deposit or prepayment schedule affects cash flow
- You’ve managed vendors and held them accountable when things went wrong
- You’re organized and have a strong attention to detail
