About the role

We’re seeking a talented senior technical writer and reviewer with extensive aerospace industry experience. who is also a capable CSDB (common-source data base) administrator. Deep expertise in the S1000D specification, to produce maintenance, flight and other manuals, is essential. An ideal candidate also will have experience managing project scope, as well as excellent communications skills and a collaborative attitude.

What they're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree (engineering or aerospace-related field is a plus)
  • At least five years of experience authoring S1000D documentation for aerospace, including relevant CSDB administration and peer review experience
  • Deep knowledge of effectivity/applicability in S1000D
  • Demonstrated experience with aerospace technical publications subject to approval by aviation regulatory authorities (FAA, EASA)
  • Experience coordinating with engineers to extract and validate technical information
  • Proficiency in XML authoring and CSDB management
