About the role
The Senior Structures Design Engineer will develop the primary and secondary airframe structure for an advanced narrowbody aircraft from concept through preliminary design. The role joins structural architecture with practical product definition across the wing, pylon and engine interfaces, fuselage, empennage, control surfaces, and high-lift installations. What they're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of aircraft structural design or closely related aerospace product-development experience
- Demonstrated proficiency developing complex aerospace hardware in CATIA, 3DEXPERIENCE, or a comparable CAD environment
- Working knowledge of aircraft load paths, structural sizing, joints, fasteners, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and configuration control
- Experience taking structural concepts through layout, detailed definition, build, and test support
- Ability to make sound design decisions with incomplete information and communicate assumptions, risks, and interfaces clearly
