About the role
We are looking for an experienced, highly adaptable team player to join our multicultural DevOps team. In this role, you will be part of our Platform Engineering function, which is dedicated to streamlining and automating development and operations processes to ensure faster, more efficient, and more reliable software delivery. Development and DevOps are viewed as one engineering team at Bitsight, there are no silos, and we work together to deliver business value. What they're looking for
- Proven experience as a DevOps/Operations engineer in a SaaS environment
- Extensive experience with Linux systems (Ubuntu/Debian/CentOS preferred) and general automation scripting (Bash/Python)
- Deep experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and major Cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
- Strong expertise with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles and tools, such as Terraform
- Demonstrated fluency in leveraging AI tools to accelerate infrastructure delivery, coupled with a strong understanding of how to safely validate, govern, and measure the ROI of AI-assisted automation
- Strategic thinking capabilities, able to deeply understand the customer's "job to be done" and gather empirical data to guide your decision-making
