About the role
We're seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer embedded directly inside customer engineering teams, writing the code, building the tooling, integrations and configurations needed to get Blockstream's products into production. Additionally you ship what you build back into the core product.
What they're looking for
- 4-8 years of experience in Software Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, Technical Consulting, Implementation Engineering, or Enterprise Software Delivery
- Proficiency in at least one systems or backend language (e.g. Python, Go, Rust) sufficient to build and ship integrations, tooling and services independently
- Experience implementing and deploying enterprise software solutions within complex customer environments
- Strong understanding of protocol intermediation, enterprise integration patterns, cloud technologies, security fundamentals and modern software architectures
- Experience working directly with enterprise customers throughout implementation and deployment projects
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
