What they're looking for
- BS/BA in a technical Preference given to Industrial Engineering, engineering, or statistics
- 2+ years experience in Quality Engineering and/or related technical role(s)
- Experience with ERP and PLM systems with a good understanding of procurement
- ASQ Certified Auditor, Quality Engineer, Certified Six Sigma Greenbelt/Blackbelt, and/or AS9100 Lead Auditor highly desired
- Familiarity with electronics and mechanical hardware assurance methods and tools (inspection, test, analysis) Familiarity with electronic and mechanical components is a plus
- Experience with manufacturing (quality, engineering, measurement, and/or support) is required. Experience with spaceflight hardware and systems is a plus

Position Purpose: All Quality Engineers are expected to provide support and data to various process owners to facilitate continuous improvement initiatives, interface with technical engineering disciplines and manufacturing technicians, assess risk for their assigned areas and mitigate it as appropriate, participate in root cause and corrective action activities, and champion quality throughout the organization.
