About the role
We’re looking for a Software Engineer II to join the User Targeting team. The team is responsible for how our customers segment and target their users. Every message Braze sends goes through our pipelines, which process billions of users per day. We are a fast-paced team working close to customers in a core and high-impact area of our product. What they're looking for
- Software Engineering Experience: 2+ years of professional experience building and shipping web applications, in full-stack development or back-end services
- Strong Fundamentals: Solid understanding of software design, data structures, and algorithms
- Databases: Experience with SQL and at least one production database
- Ownership: Able to take an ambiguous feature request, ask the right questions, and turn it into working, tested code with limited oversight
- Self-Starter: Great communication and organizational skills, with a history of thriving in team environments
