About the role
This team sits at the front line of Carta's compliance function — managing the intake and resolution of KYC requests on behalf of some of the world's leading asset managers and private equity firms. You'll work in a high-volume, client-facing environment where accuracy, speed, and regulatory fluency aren't optional — they're the baseline.

- Confident and client-ready. You enjoy client KYC conversations with senior stakeholders and counterparties, assertive, professional, and knowing when to escalate versus when to resolve
- A proactive decision-maker. You don't wait to be told what to do. You assess the situation, apply the right framework, and move forward with minimal supervision
- A communicator people trust. You write clearly, speak with confidence, and bring the same professionalism to client-facing correspondence as you do to internal work
- Able to manage a full plate. You handle multiple priorities simultaneously without dropping the ball, and you stay composed under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Building toward a compliance career. You have a genuine interest in AML/CFT compliance and legal services and you're looking for a place to grow, not just a job to fill
