- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a track record of owning systems end to end
- Strong Python software development experience
- Hands-on experience building and operating software in a major cloud environment (Azure, AWS, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated system design skills: you plan beyond the immediate ask and ship tools that scale and get adopted
- Experience organizing data from multiple sources and formats into a usable storage, access, and application layer
