We're looking for a Design Engineer who obsesses over those decisions. This isn't a traditional frontend engineering role. You'll own the experience of using Chariot—working at the intersection of engineering, product, and design to build software that is intuitive, performant, and delightful. You'll partner closely with our Chief Product Officer to shape products from early ideas through polished implementation.

We're looking for a Design Engineer who obsesses over those decisions.
This isn't a traditional frontend engineering role. You'll own the experience of using Chariot—working at the intersection of engineering, product, and design to build software that is intuitive, performant, and delightful. You'll partner closely with our Chief Product Officer to shape products from early ideas through polished implementation.
Sometimes that means building entirely new product experiences. Other times it means improving a workflow, refining an interaction, making the interface feel faster, simplifying information architecture, improving accessibility, or fixing dozens of tiny details that collectively make software exceptional. You won't simply execute tickets — you'll help define what great looks like.
Own the quality of Chariot's web application and user experience.
Partner closely with Product and Design from concept through launch.
Build polished, accessible, and performant interfaces using React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.
