About the role
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain Strategy, the Senior Staff Supply Chain Strategy Manager owns Checkr's highest-stakes supply chain strategy work, shaping how the company scales new products and manages vendor risk. This person will own multi-year, cross-functional strategic initiatives and complex vendor partnerships end-to-end, from ambiguous, emerging business needs through execution and measurable outcomes.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
- 8+ years owning large-scale, cross-functional supply chain or strategic initiatives end-to-end, including high-stakes vendor negotiation and partnership management
- Demonstrated ability to operate through significant ambiguity, make consequential trade-offs, and secure senior leadership approval on strategic direction
- Executive-level written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to influence senior leadership using high-quality strategic documents
- Strong track record of driving cross-functional alignment across R&D, Operations, Finance, and GTM
- An A-player mindset with a strong bias for action: you raise the bar, move with urgency, stay resilient through ambiguity, and take ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes
