About the role
As a Digital Solutions and Platform Engineer, you will own the operational reliability of the platforms supporting Acacia’s engineering and business workflows. You will strengthen our infrastructure foundation by diagnosing complex issues, automating repeatable tasks, and reducing technical debt to ensure consistent performance as our environment scales. What they're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with five or more years of hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting enterprise infrastructure (virtualization, servers, storage, networking, or backup/recovery)
- Demonstrated experience independently diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues that span multiple domains (e.g., identity, applications, and networks)
- Proven ability to automate infrastructure or operational tasks using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or Bash) and configuration-management tools
- Professional experience in designing and implementing technical improvements, such as platform upgrades or workflow integrations, rather than performing only standard maintenance
- Ability to work from the Massachusetts office at least three days per week and participate in an on-call rotation for scheduled maintenance and incident response
