About the role
We're hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers focused on increasing the number of fleets on the Coast platform. You'll partner directly with Product and Design to ship high-impact capabilities that move critical business metrics. This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll set technical direction, coach engineers by engaging with their real work, lead by example, and raise the bar on how the team operates. You will have the opportunity to help shape a fast-growing engineering organization.

- 4+ years of success managing engineers, with a track record of growing engineers to the next level
- 8+ years in web systems development
- Strong technical judgment: making sound architectural decisions, managing technical debt, and upholding high engineering standards
- Hands-on experience implementing AI-driven features in production
- Experience developing AI fluency in engineering teams
- Excellent communication: you understand that effective communication is critical to success and you translate technical concepts clearly for diverse stakeholders and keep projects moving
