About the role

Join an internal research interviewing team for a large-scale national study exploring what people value in their daily lives, challenges in their communities, concerns, and visions for the future. This is a listening role focused on conducting conversational, open-ended interviews with members of the public across the United States. Interviewers work under a research lead who handles protocol, quality review, and scheduling.

What they're looking for

  • Conduct remote interviews (video or phone) with participants across a wide range of ages, regions, income levels, and backgrounds, following a standardized question guide
  • Ask open-ended questions and draw out long-form answers without leading, prompting, or inserting your own views
  • Record sessions with participant consent and produce accurate, complete transcripts
  • Log required metadata for every interview including participant region, demographic category, date, question mapping, and response traceability using the project tracker
  • Follow the study's informed-consent script and all human-subjects research protocols exactly as written
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the study sponsor and follow a defined response protocol if participants ask who commissioned the research

**Overview**

Join an internal research interviewing team for a large-scale national study exploring what people value in their daily lives, challenges in their communities, concerns, and visions for the future. This is a listening role focused on conducting conversational, open-ended interviews with members of the public across the United States. The team supports two distinct interview streams: high-volume national public interviews and specialist interviews with professionals in observation-heavy roles such as local journalists, paramedics, and social workers.
