We are hiring a Venture Partner to extend DPC’s reach in two directions: surfacing exceptional companies for us to back, and growing the community of relationships around the firm. You will spend your time in the places where great founders and serious technologists gather, and you will help make sure DPC is known, trusted, and top of mind in those rooms.
What they're looking for
- Identify and refer promising companies across Applied AI, Inference Infrastructure, and Frontier Tech
- Surface proprietary opportunities through your founder and operator network, and make warm introductions to the DPC investment team
- Share early context and your own read on teams and technology to help us prioritize
- Represent DPC at conferences, demo days, and industry events, and within the technical and founder communities you are part of
- Build awareness of DPC as a partner of choice and strengthen the firm’s presence and reputation in your circles
- Identify and cultivate relationships with people and organizations who may be a strong long-term fit for the DPC community, and introduce them to the firm’s principals
More about this role
DataPower Capital (“DPC”) is an SEC Exempt Reporting Adviser that backs founders building at the technical frontier. We operate a single-asset Fund platform across three investment themes: Applied AI, Inference Infrastructure, and Frontier Tech. DPC grew out of a top-25 AngelList syndicate and today invests through dedicated series vehicles, giving founders and co-investors a nimble, high-conviction partner rather than a slow committee.
We run lean and move quickly. The people we bring on carry real ownership over what they touch.
