About the role
We're looking for a technically strong Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager to own complex, non-routine accounting matters as Decagon scales. This is a high-impact individual contributor role for someone who thrives on solving thorny GAAP questions, revenue recognition, business combinations, and stock-based compensation among them, and can turn them into clear, well-documented conclusions the business can act on.
What they're looking for
- Experience with lease accounting (ASC 842), capitalized software (ASC 350-40), or debt and equity instruments (ASC 480)
- Familiarity with ERP and financial reporting tools
- Experience using AI and automation tools to accelerate technical accounting research, memo drafting, or audit support
- Compensation
- $140K - $160K + Equity
