About the role

Deepgram is the leading platform underpinning the emerging trillion-dollar Voice AI economy, providing real-time APIs for speech-to-text (STT), text-to-speech (TTS), and building production-grade voice agents at scale. More than 200,000 developers and 1,300+ organizations build voice offerings that are ‘Powered by Deepgram’, including Twilio, Cloudflare, Sierra, Decagon, Vapi, Daily, Cresta, Granola, and Jack in the Box. What they're looking for

  • Excellent product management judgment. You own product and roadmap, set direction, decide under uncertainty, ship outcomes, and lead cross-functional work without authority. You can show the results
  • A shipped product that people paid for. This is required. You have built and shipped a consumer or prosumer application that people chose and paid for, and you owned its funnel and its business as well as its features
  • Zero-to-one product definition. You have taken a product from an idea to a first version real users adopted — the strategy, the positioning, the first release — and you can show what happened next
  • Deep AI fluency, proven by shipped work. This is required. You have personally built and shipped AI into end-user applications and have strong, specific opinions about where models help, where they fail, and how to verify what they produce
  • Technical depth. You reason with engineering about models, latency, privacy, and platform tradeoffs, you read code, you prototype
  • Design sense. You build simple, effective interfaces and communicate ideas through mockups and prototypes, grounded in user research and testing
