About the role
The Product Development Engineer I is an early-to-mid career engineering role responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and evolving DIRECTV for Business entertainment platforms, cloud services, and technology solutions.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Experience developing software using one or more programming languages such as Python, Golang, JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Experience with application development, REST APIs, software integration, scripting, automation, and modern software engineering practices
- Working knowledge of cloud computing concepts, Linux operating systems, networking fundamentals, and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of Agile software development methodologies, software development lifecycle processes, and modern product engineering practices
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues

As part of the Product Engineering organization, you will help modernize next-generation entertainment experiences, develop cloud-native services, build automation solutions, and deliver innovative commercial and hospitality video, advertising, and media technology capabilities that enhance customer experiences and drive business growth.
This role provides the opportunity to work across product engineering, platform development, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, advertising technology, and business operations while contributing to scalable solutions that support DIRECTV for Business customers across commercial and hospitality markets nationwide.
