About the role
Divergent is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer II to support and enhance environmental, health, and safety programs across our advanced manufacturing operations. This role will partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, facilities, engineering, and operations teams to ensure compliance with applicable environmental and occupational safety regulations while helping drive a proactive safety culture.
What they're looking for
- Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health & Safety, Public Health, Engineering, or related technical field
- 2+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, automotive, chemical, or related environments
- Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, hazardous waste, air quality, wastewater, and chemical safety regulations
- Experience supporting EHS compliance programs, inspections, audits, and incident investigations
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
