About the role
Doppel's Forward Deployed Engineering team owns the onboarding of our biggest enterprise customers as effective and low touch as possible
What they're looking for
- Strong software engineering foundation. 6+ years building and shipping production software, with the technical depth to make architecture decisions and contribute directly to the codebase
- Technical leadership experience. You've set technical direction, mentored engineers, and driven complex projects while remaining hands-on
- Customer-facing technical depth. You've worked directly with complex enterprise customers, can uncover technical needs, and can turn ambiguous problems into scoped production systems
- Experience with enterprise systems. You're comfortable working across APIs, webhooks, identity and authentication (OAuth, SAML, SCIM), and enterprise infrastructure. Experience with security platforms or SIEM/SOAR ecosystems is a plus
- Product instincts. You recognize patterns across customer needs and know when something should remain customer-specific versus becoming a reusable product or platform capability
- Strong technical judgment and communication. You can move comfortably between a customer call, system design, debugging with an engineer, and working with Product on what should be built next
