About the role
Accessory Ecosystem is critical to deploying, integrating, and operating Echodyne’s advanced radar products. Echodyne is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Analog/Mixed-Signal (AMS) Engineering team and lead the electrical architecture, development, and lifecycle support of our accessory portfolio.
What they're looking for
- Ability to analyze and mitigate electrical design and integration risks involving wire sizing, voltage drop, shielding, crosstalk, EMI/EMC performance, thermal effects, connector selection, and system topology
- Experience technically leading COTS evaluation, build-to-print, vendor co-development, and design-to-spec or design-house development, including specifications, design reviews, and technical acceptance
- Experience leading electrical integration, verification, and qualification, including EMI/EMC, electrical safety, reliability, environmental performance, and interface verification
- Ability to operate from broad direction, resolve complex cross-disciplinary technical problems, manage technical risks and competing priorities, and influence cross-functional teams and external partners
- Experience developing electrical hardware for radar, aerospace, defense, autonomous systems, or other high-reliability products
- Experience applying relevant electrical safety, EMI/EMC, environmental, interconnect, and high-reliability product standards
