This role as the Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for taking demand indicators and placing the appropriate purchase orders with the Approved suppliers and/or OEMs.

This role as the Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for taking demand indicators and placing the appropriate purchase orders with the Approved suppliers and/or OEMs. These POs should be the result of analyzing demand forecasts, required lead times and the expected need date of the parts/equipment being ordered. Once ordered all PO’s must be tracked and expected arrival dates should be proactively communicated to internal/external customers as to the arrival dates and other key information.
