About the role
Eridu is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in system chassis, enclosure and frame designs used in high-performance computing hardware. This role focuses on the design of rack-mounted systems, including structural frames, board mounting structures, cooling hardware integration, and manufacturable assemblies. The ideal candidate has strong experience developing server, networking, or data center hardware, and has taken chassis systems from concept through production.
What they're looking for
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 10 years of experience designing mechanical systems for electronics hardware
- Hands-on experience designing chassis for server or networking rack-mounted systems
- Experience delivering designs through ODM partners
- Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
- Proficiency with 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, or NX

Eridu is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in system chassis, enclosure and frame designs used in high-performance computing hardware. This role focuses on the design of rack-mounted systems, including structural frames, board mounting structures, cooling hardware integration, and manufacturable assemblies. The ideal candidate has strong experience developing server, networking, or data center hardware, and has taken chassis systems from concept through production. You will be one of three engineers based in Taiwan. The other two engineers are a Hardware Engineer and an Advanced Packaging Engineer. This role will be based in Taipei City with occasional travel to Hsinchu.
- Mechanical designs of rack-mounted computing systems, including:
- Sheet-metal chassis structures
- Structural frames and mounting assemblies
- Board-level mounting structures for high-speed electronics
- Card cages, PSU mounting structures, and cable management
- Thermal Integration, including
- Cold plates, manifolds, airflow ducting and flow management structures
- Ensure mechanical architecture supports thermal performance and serviceability.
