About the role

The Senior Actuarial Analyst is responsible for conducting and executing actuarial reserving analyses for various Property & Casualty lines of business. This role plays a vital part in evaluating loss and LAE reserves, supporting financial reporting, and collaborating with Finance, Claims, Underwriting, and ERM. The position requires solid technical reserving expertise, strong analytical judgment, and the ability to effectively communicate complex results to management.

What they're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field
  • Minimum of 5 years of actuarial experience, with a dedicated focus on P&C reserving
  • Active pursuit of Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) credentials (e.g., 4+ exams passed, nearing ACAS designation)
  • Solid knowledge of U.S. P&C reserving techniques and standard actuarial methodologies. • Advanced proficiency in Excel, working knowledge of actuarial software (e.g., ResQ, Arius, SAS, R, or similar)
  • Programming, data querying, or automation experience (e.g., SQL, R, Python, VBA)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
