About the role
Our ultimate goal is to build perfect search over all the world's information, far beyond Google. If you want to build massive-scale ML systems that will define the way the new AI world consumes information, this is the place for you. As a Full Stack Engineer at Exa, you'll work on everything developers and agents touch when they use our product. That includes our developer dashboard, APIs, SDKs, and the rest of our developer platform.
What they're looking for
- You're a strong generalist engineer, comfortable owning the product lifecycle from design to deploy
- You're fluent in TypeScript, with a strong eye for front-end design, and comfortable learning new tools and technology as the work calls for it
- You've designed and maintained backend APIs that real users and customers depend on
- You've shipped products for LLMs, AI agents, or other systems used by many people
- You care about the problem of finding high quality information and recognize how important this is for the world
- You have 3+ years of fullstack engineering experience
