Operational procurement. Source and procure MRO materials, critical spare parts, consumables, chemicals, equipment, repair services, and other operational requirements. Requirements review. Review purchase requisitions and technical requirements for completeness, coordinating with Commissioning, Operations and Production to confirm specifications and approve proposed alternatives or cross references. What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Five or more years of purchasing, procurement, materials management, or supply chain experience in energy, power generation, manufacturing, oil and gas, or a similar industrial environment
- Experience procuring MRO materials, spare parts, industrial equipment, consumables, repair services, and field services
- Experience managing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, expediting, supplier performance, and invoice or receiving discrepancies
- Proficiency with ERP or procurement systems such as SAP or Oracle, along with strong Excel, KPI reporting, and analytical skills
- Strong commercial judgment, negotiation, organization, communication, and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to manage urgent requirements while maintaining procurement controls
