About the role
Build and maintain relationships with trucking carriers and product and equipment vendors supporting drilling and completions operations. Develop and manage a reliable D&C carrier pool; negotiate rates and service terms, and onboard new vendors as needs grow. Found on 1752vc Careers, the job board for startup and VC roles.
What they're looking for
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field — or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of experience in oilfield, drilling & completions logistics, trucking, or supply chain (oil & gas strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated experience building and managing trucking carrier and vendor relationships, including rate negotiation
- Experience coordinating time-critical, multi-stop shipments to active well or rig sites
- Strong analytical skills — comfortable analyzing shipment data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, strong Excel skills
