About the role
Finxact is an innovative, enterprise-class, cloud-native banking platform and transaction-processing engine designed to support banks, fintech companies, and embedded-finance providers at scale. We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to provide technical leadership in the design, development, and evolution of highly scalable backend services and platform capabilities.
What they're looking for
- 10+ years of professional software-engineering experience designing, developing, and supporting production systems
- Strong experience developing backend systems in Go or another modern programming language, with the ability and willingness to become productive in Go
- Significant experience with software architecture, technical design, and technical leadership across complex or distributed systems
- Strong experience designing APIs and service-based architectures
- Strong experience with relational databases, SQL, data modeling, performance optimization, partitioning, and data-migration techniques
- Experience designing and operating cloud-native applications using containers and Kubernetes
