About the role
Forward Deployed Engineers sit where the product meets the customer. You will work directly with clinics and provider groups to understand what they actually need, then build it. That means real engineering work, not configuration, and real client work, not tickets.
What they're looking for
- BS in Computer Science, or strong demonstrated evidence of engineering ability
- 1 to 2 years of experience is acceptable for an exceptional learner. 2 to 5 years is also welcome
- An impressive portfolio. A link is required with your application and must be shared before the skills interview
- Full-stack capability that goes beyond JavaScript and TypeScript. You have used higher-level software libraries to build real customer solutions
- Strong communication skills and genuine comfort in client-facing settings
- Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into technical specs independently
