- You've been the on-site network or cable-plant specialist in a data center, owning physical-layer troubleshooting end to end
- You know structured cabling and fiber deeply (testing, termination, fault isolation) and you read device diagnostics well enough to validate repairs
- You have enough network fundamentals (TCP/IP, switching, optics) to bridge cabling and the network stack
- You operate as the sole escalation resource on-site and take incidents through to resolution
- You document rigorously, so Network Operations can pick up cleanly when an issue exceeds on-site scope
